Made with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc on an excellent 2009 vintage this Puisseguin St Emilion offers an elegant nose of black and red fruit flavors with spicy notes. The palate is fresh, round and delicious with fine tannins.

Palate supple on attack then firm, tannic finish. Classic claret in style with the generosity of the vintage. Acidity contributes to its force and drive and there are ripe underlying tannins. There’s real energy here and a potential for ageing too. Drink 2012-2022 Alc 13.5%.
